Miley è candidata a ben dieci premi grazie alle sue interpretazioni in Hannah Montana The Movie e nel telefilm Hannah Montana.

Ai Teen Choice Awards 2009 ci saranno anche Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, Megan Fox, David Beckham, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Morrison, Keke Palmer, Alexis Bledel, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester, Ellen DeGeneres e Ashley Tisdale.
Inoltre sarà presente tutto il cast di Twilight: Robert Pattinson (Edward Cullen), Kristen Stewart (Bella Swan), Taylor Lautner (Jacob Black), Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), Nikki Reed (Rosalie Cullen) e Kellan Lutz (Emmett Cullen).
